Mary's role in Second Coming

I really feel St. Louis de Montfort is right on this. Jesus always loves to come through His Mother, the Mediatrix of All Graces. He enters people’s lives constantly through her. She gave birth to Him in the Incarnation, she gave birth to His Second Body in the resurrection through her cooperation with His Passion as Co-Redemptrix (which is like birth pangs for the new body and the Resurrection of the Dead), and the Mother of the Church gives birth to all the Body of Christ throughout the world today through her intercession. She gave birth to her Son’s first body and to His second, and she gives birth to all His Body throughout the world. Through her intercession with the apostles in the upper room, the “Spirit of Jesus,” the Holy Ghost, came into the Church. Jesus always comes through her, His Mediatrix of All Graces.

In view of all this, of how Jesus always comes through Mary, it seems certain to me that He will continue to do so at the Second Coming and in some way will reign through her afterward in the New Heaven and New Earth, among the saints. I just have no idea how it will happen. It’s way over my head!

I think we are getting ready for a major, major world wide chastisement. Things have gotten so bad, it will be the only way that Our Lord can turn some of the fallen away back to Himself. It will become the only way to end the evil in the world. I believe this is why Mary has returned to us so many times. She is the loving mother who wants to warn her children. Monica makes a good point: we have to be careful about apparitions because there are many who would deceive us or be deceived themselves by something that isn’t “supernatural”, something that’s not from God. These could perhaps be from the devil, who is trying to confuse us.

But a real seer usually suffers as a direct result of the visions. They don’t accept money or gifts from those who come to see them. I believe that the apparitions the have been approved are ones where Mary’s visits are brief, she may or may not say a few things, and then the apparitions end. Isn’t that true? The seers usually go onto live a quiet life away from the general public.

So anyway, the approved apparitions are important for those who have fallen away, but even more so for us who believe. I believe they’re meant to inspire us to prayer for ourselves, our families, for the world. We are all such unworthy sinners, we don’t even understand how unworthy we are, but while we are still here on earth we can pray, and we can try to bring others to Our Lord. This is the best we can do.

Sometimes you hear people talking about the Three Days of Darkness prophesies. Many saints have spoken of this over the years; that they’ll be three days of tribulation and then at the end, Our Lord will usher in a brief era of peace. Again, the important thing is to watch and pray and stay sober as Our Lord himself directed us to do this.
