What’s the best way to explain the sacrificial nature of the Mass to a Protestant? Thanks!
 
In the movie, “The Passion of The Christ,” there is a great reference to the Mass as sacrifice. During the horrible suffering that Jesus endured, there is a flash back to the Last Supper. Maybe this person has seen the movie. Then read the Gospel of John Chap. 6 with this person. Help this person to understand that the Eucharist is not a symbol. It is truely the “Body and Blood” of Jesus. Good luck.
