I am in Mexico City for 4 weeks, living in the very south of the city near Tlalpan. On Sundays I am free to travel around. I know of the Cathedral, the Basilica, and the FSSP parish in the city. Does anyone have other recommendations for where reverent masses are said?

It is pretty far so you may not be able to go, but I really enjoyed going to Parroquia De La Asunción in Amecameca. Amecameca is about 90 mins from Tlalpan if I remember correctly. I didn’t spend much time in Mexico City. We were living in Cuernavaca and only went to Mexico City a few times while we were there (about 3 years). The only Mass I ever attended in Mexico City was at the Basilica. Amecameca was hit hard by the earthquake so I’m not sure how badly the church was damaged if any. I hope you have a wonderful trip! Mexico has some wonderful places to visit and beautiful people to meet.

just be careful travelling around. i would love to see the Basilica.
