Recently there was a Mass of Anointing at my parish. I was interested in going and being anointed because of a (non life-threatening) medical problem I have. Would it have been okay for me to go and be anointed? Or is it just for older people (I’m 27) or those who are *really *sick?

The Sacrament of Anointing is for those who are “seriously” sick. Chronic illness that effects a persons everyday life could be considered. Remember that any person who is planning to receive the Sacrament of Annointing of The Sick, must go to Sacramental Confession prior, if they are aware of any serious sin.
