I was just recently born again… and I’ve been struggling ever since but I cut down on my sin life drastically. A few months back when I was still fornicating, party phase, etc. I seen these large shadows in my room and two had horns and a halo. I knew instantly I was not going mad hense this has never happened to me before, however I did question a lot of people in the church and remained answerless my conclusion is I was seeing in the sprit realm and after that I knew I had to stop sinning I had no choice. This also happened to me again another time when I was reading the Bible. Long story short that was in my family’s house who they are non-believes and sin freequently so I had to depart from them… now I’m living with my boyfriends family.
( we are not fornicating anymore, we do not sleep in same rooms, and we are not moving out together until we are under the oath of marriage which is happening in a few months)
I’ve overcame my sexual sin. Recently. Now I’m having dreams that confuse me to masterbate, I was feeling so guilty with masterbation and fornication it no longer became pleasurable for me and it’s so frustrating because I’m trying to further my relationship with Christ and this is happening to me ! This has also never happened to me before, and I have a feeling it’s because I cut off my sex life. . What should I do?

Blastemy thoughts yes I struggle with this too. But I’ve had issues with my thoughts my whole life they always seemed a bit negative, worst case scenario thinking, now since I’m going to church more often I pray frequently and read my Bible. I have these blastemy thoughts that I repent for instantly… it’s so troubling.

Hi Marissa, welcome back to the faith. I’m sorry to hear you’re having difficulties. You’re making better choices in your life so let’s focus on that. The holy spirit is working in you and helping you do great things. Sometimes it seems following faith can be a struggle; it takes time to heal the spirit. Just like any other wound you need medicine. It’s easy to see your wound is healing; not as fast as you would like I’m sure. 😅 Prayer and church is your medicine in situations like this. Perhaps pray the rosary everyday or the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. Whenever we start getting closer to God; Satan tries to draw us back in. Do your best and don’t be so hard on yourself. God knows your suffering and he is there to help.

May you have a blest day.
