Has anyone seen the movie, “Match Point?” It might be offensive to some people because of the adultery scenes. I recently saw it, and I thought it was a good movie. Why? I think it illustrated very clearly what a slippery slope we can go down when we give in to something like adultery. The characters were very interesting, and the first meetings (of the two who cheated) seemed innocent enough. This movie reminded me of an old saying, “Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive.” I thought that this movie might be enlightening for people who haven’t had much of a religious/moral background. It really showed the consequences of immoral actions in living color, and one evil act lead to another.
I haven’t read much about this movie, and I was wondering what other people thought of it.
