May 8 - EWTN's Miniseries May 4-7 on "True Devotion"

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Hopefully some were able to watch all four presentations on St. Louis de Montfort’s “True Devotion to the Blessed Virgin” by Fr. Frederck Miller on EWTN. I was grateful to watch all of them – grateful for many things about all 4 talks, because even though each was merely 30 minutes, each presentation seemed to come straight from the heart, yet not without the foundation of sound teaching from the saint who wrote this book as well as Scripture and the early Church Fathers and saints before him.

Perhaps most of all I was grateful for Fr. Miller’s emphasis on Mary as our Mother and as “Gift” from Jesus to help us on our way to greater union with Jesus. I’d be very grateful to hear from anyone who watched the series, or who has read the book, and your thoughts about either or both.

Thank you all for your “hearts” which encourages me to think you may have watched the miniseries. If you have time, I’d be grateful if you’d let me know what your thoughts were in watching it, or if you weren’t able to watch Fr. Miller’s Presentation, , maybe you could let me know your thoughts on Devotion to Mary in general – aside from St. Louis de Montfort’s book on “True Devotion to the Blessed Virgin”.

I really am grateful for your “hearts” for it is at least an encouragement to know some are interested and are seeking to know and love Jesus more through Mary our Mother. I was amazed by the fact that the copyright on that video Fr. Miller made for EWTN was produced n 1988!!! It seemed so needed for the Church today!
