Need to know the Church’s view on divorced Catholics receiving Communion. A 70 year old woman is in much spiritual pain, she has not received Communion since her divorce ages ago. Thank you and God Bless you, Mosal
Divorce does not bare Catholics from the receiving the Eucharist. Marrying outside of the Church does. So long as the divorcee lives in a celibate way, he or she may go to Confession and receive Holy Communion.
