May a Lutheran receive communion?

I recently had a conversation with a Lutheran woman who is raising her children Catholic and she commented that she wanted to be in a Catholic church that welcomed her, meaning she would be able to receive communion. She stated that after speaking with the pastor he has allowed her to receive communion with her children and husband. She says she believes in the real presence. Can a Lutheran who believes in the real presence receive communion?
