May I make the sign of the cross even before I'm a Catholic?

I have been attending the Catholic Church here in my town for 5 months, I have talked to the father about becoming Catholic. He told me that the classes begin in Sept. or Oct. My question is although I cannot receive the communion, can I still do the sign of the cross and say the prayers???
 
Hi,

Certainly, you may pray in a Catholic way. You may attend Mass as well. But you may not receive any of the sacraments ( Holy Communion and Confession) until later.
