I have always heard you shouldn’t pray for yourself. I always feel guilty about praying for others and thanking God for blessings I have because in the end they (prayers) make me feel better. Am I over thinking this?
Jesus told us to pray for what we need. He didn’t just suggest it.
We are made in His image and likeness. We are not junk. It is to His glory that we ask for what we need.
