May I take Holy Communion in this state?

Today I confessed my sins and received absolution. However, after I got out of confession I remembered a bunch of sins that I genuinely forgot in confession šŸ™ƒ. I know that these sins have been forgiven and all that, but tomorrow can I still take Holy Communion? And if youā€™re wondering, ā€œWhy not just go to confession tomorrow before Mass?ā€ the answer is I have confirmation classes before Mass and unfortunately they almost always end when confession ends (Classes are from 11:30 to around 1:15 and confession is 12 to 1:15).

It is possible for me to leave class and go to confession, but that means I would miss class time and Iā€™m not sure how long Iā€™d be gone (there may be a line and also some people take a ā€˜longā€™ time confessing). Also, tomorrow is a kind of important day for us in class and I donā€™t know of Iā€™d want to miss a lot of class timeā€¦So if I donā€™t make it to confession tomorrow, may I still take Communion?

Yes.

You must confess them the next time you go to confession, but provided your previous one was genuine the sins you had forgotten were forgiven.

Since you genuinely forgot, I think the rule of thumb is you can receive if the forgotten sins were venial but should wait until after Confession is any were mortal. Someone please correct me if Iā€™m wrong.

Christ Himself established a Church, a religion. He did not give us a Bible, but a Church. He also gave us rules to follow. The sacrament of Penance has been around much longer than any protestant organization or ideaā€¦

You received absolution so they have been forgiven, but I would suggest confessing them at the next opportunity. My priest has said that when you remember a sin later it is the Holy Spirit moving through you with grace to bring you to perfect contrition and this is an opportunity to confess any sins you have forgotten or come to a perfect contrition on.
