May my dying non-Catholic mother receive the Anointing of the Sick?

I wanted to know if I can ask a priest to come and give the anointing of the sick.
My mother is not catholic and has dementia and her health is failing–how can I help her so she ends up in purgatory instead of hell?
She lives so far away. I have been praying the Devine Mercy Chaplet- and asking that she will be converted before death but I feel so helpless–any ideas or advice?
 
Dear friend,

If your mother has been baptized, a priest could give her the Anointing of the Sick. I encourage you to ask him. She is in our prayers.
