May Protestant clergy give homilies in a Catholic church each month?

My daughter recently visted and told how her parish invited various Protestant ministers to give a homily at Mass once a month. This was in place of the normal homily given by the priest. I thought only a ordained Catholic priest was allowed to give a homily at Mass, and wonder how a Protestant minister whose theology differs on Eucharist and Sacraments and many other issues can teach.

Has this rule changed, and if not how can some Bishops allow such practices.

The rule HASN"T changed. If non-ordained Catholics are not allowed to preach the homily, certainly non-Catholics are not allowed to do so. Let you bishop know. One would hope that he would uphold such teaching.
