Much suffering and anguish, all around. Personal worries and concern for family and friends, especially those I love who are estranged and those with whom I share in their bitter anguish. Be with two You know are upon my heart. This heart and mind can become overwhelmed and despair over sorrowful events and conditions, until I reach for You. Lord, upon Your loving strength I rely.

May I and those who suffer find rest with the sure knowledge of Your Love which connects and supports each of us in Your Christian family. Amen.

O most Sacred Heart of Jesus,
Fountain of Every Blessing, I adore You,
I love You and with true sorrow for my sins,
I offer You this poor heart of mine.
Make me humble, patient, pure, and
wholly obedient to Your will.
Grant, good Jesus, that I may live in
You and for You.
Protect me in the midst of danger,
comfort me in my afflictions,
