How exactly does one pray a Meditated Chaplet of Divine Mercy? If there were just 10 meditations I would apply them to each of the 10 beads in each of the 5 decades. There are 13 or more meditations…so I’m confused. Here is a link to a Meditated Chaplet: theworkofgod.org/Devotns/DivMercy/meditatedchaplet.htm
Your question’s a good one and I don’t have an answer for you.
But I would encourage you not to get hung up the externals of matching the prayers with the beads exactly. It’s more important that you pray and not let the technique hang you up. If a prayer method gets in your way of prayer, stop it or change it.
If it’s really important to you that they match, prehaps you can just blend two of the meditations into one. Perhaps combining the “scouraging of Our Lord” with “crowning of thorns” into one meditation would be a good one.
At any rate, just pray! Be with God in meditation , not hung up on the method!
