Hello again,
I am curious about meditative Aides. Specifically music. What do you suggest as good listening for meditation, prayer, even Bible study and spiritual reading? I know the go-to will chant or polyphonic choral singing, which I love, but does anyone else have any good suggestions? Ancient or modern, doesn’t matter to me, just as long as it’s good and beneficial. Thanks all!

Music can be a bit distracting. Maybe it could be useful after meditation to keep the recollected state.

I’ve never been able to meditate with music, because I can’t help focusing on the music . I have found that listening to a recording of a thunderstorm often helps before I meditate, and a real thunderstorm is much better.

Thanks! Yes, I can’t really listen to anything with words but I like to have some noise, I get very distracted in the total silence. So even if it’s whales or subsonic wave forms haha

I love total silence. The wind rustling through leaves or beach sounds of waves gently crashing and seabirds is okay, too.
