Very interesting and funny article by the newly launched US edition of the Catholic Herald.

I agree this is very funny! I’ve always loved the Catholic Herald, and now that they’re launching a US edition, I’ve been thinking about subscribing.

Based on their list, I would I would place myself between a Rad Trad and a Papal Knight.

However, after the McCarrick revelations I’m leaning hard towards the “Rad Trad” (according to this list).

However, I really think there there are three other groups that this article completely missed.
  1. The group that I would call the “Canon Regularistas” or “Liturgical Police.” These are Catholics who love a beautiful liturgy, regardless of the OF or EF. They would love to see each parish ran like it belonged to the Canons Regular of St. John Cantius.
  2. Thomists. These are Catholics who love everything according to St. Thomas Aquinas.
  3. The Pro Choice Catholic.
If you add my three groups, than I’m a “Canon Regularista” and a budding Thomist.

God Bless 🙂

I would qualify as a cross between a Thomist and a Rad Trad.

I prefer the Canons Regular of the New Jerusalem. Exactly like the St John Cantius group in Chicago, except they don’t have anything to do with the novus ordo since it is deficient in many ways and not an organic growth of the Latin Mass but a completely new invention.
