The call to follow Christ is lived in many ways. There are many “charisms” in the Church, ways in which the Holy Spirit has called men and women to live out the Gospel message. Many people are being called today to respond to God’s generous love through the religious life.

However, you are not sure if you are “called” :confused:

Thank you. In a dark hour I will remember this and gain strength and hope from it. Thank you.

Dearest Blessedstar and all Prayer Warriors

In your “dark hour”, pray and sing this song, "Father, I Place into Your Hands". The song and lyrics are hosted at carmelite-seremban.org/Pray/index.html
And please feel free to use and share all the materials at our website in your vocation as a Prayer Warrior.

I thank God for all of you…

“Christ has no body
on earth but yours;
no hands but yours;
no feet but yours.
Yours are the eyes
through which Christ’s
compassion for the world
is to look out.
Yours are the feet
with which he is to go
about doing good.
Yours are the hands
with which he is to
bless others now.”

Here’s my favourite prayer I’d like to share with all of you…

PEACE PRAYER by St Francis of Assisi

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.

Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
Where there is sadness, joy;

O, divine Master, grant that
I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console,
to be understood as to understand,
to be loved as to love.

For it is in giving that we receive,
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
May God be with you all ways and always.

With all of you in prayers and thanksgiving.

Love and God bless

Hilarious and witty!!! Thank you very much for posting. You just made my day, quite possibly my week.

Glad the article made your day and week… just as you have made mine too! It’s a joy to make people laugh 🙂

God bless the author of that article… it is so true… just as Jesus said, “What is impossible with men is possible with God” - Luke 18:27

Very funny article and as I read I was smiling because of the element of truth in it. I wonder how many have been turned away from seminary/cloister due to unsuitability in modern terms and ‘this worlds’ standards…Thanks Sister - it was a very funny article:thumbsup: …

Hi all

We’ve updated Memo to Jesus to include a video link at the bottom:

Fishers of Men
This is an awesome video produced by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops to encourage vocations to the priesthood. If you’ve thought about being a priest, or you know someone who is thinking about it, or if you just want to know a little about what it means to be a Catholic priest, this is an excellent video to watch. It’s part of an overall program as listed on the USCCB website.
