Interested in living a modern day eremitical way of life?

We are a new eremitical community of men and women hermits who share in a call to help Our Lady in the salvation of souls through our Eucharistic prayer and sacrifices.

We were founded during the Holy Year 1999 by laity studing at the Angelicum and Gregorian universities in Rome.

Our way of life is modeled on that of the Carthusians. As a mixed community, our vision (and rule of life) is to live in seperate hermitages, the men on one portion of the property and the women on another.

Our devoted to our Blessed Mother is centered on St. Louis Marie De Monfort’s “True Devotion to Mary”. We spend several hours a day in adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and are obedient to the Magesterium and the Holy Father.

However, it says their Hermitage of Saint Joseph is in Portugal, near Fatima. However, Br. John Marie’s profile says he is in the Netherlands and, in postings made last year, he stated his community was in the Netherlands. Perhaps he can clarify how many members are living at the hermitage in Portugal, the one in the Netherlands, and how many are living away from those two sites?
