:flowers:Welcome! Welcome! Welcome!

welcome!!! You are exactly right that you are just beginning a lifelong journey. Keep doing what your doing and find a place to use your talents for the Lord.Last night I received the sacraments of Initiation; Baptism (conditional), Confirmation and Eucharist. Wow, what a journey this has been. Almost 18 months in RCIA and now finally I’ve been received by the Church and am in full communion with Her.
It’s hard to put everything into words since I am still “processing” it all. But it was a *wonderful *experience start to finish (including RCIA). When I was baptized and confirmed I had such a feeling of peace come over me. By the time we got to the celebration of the Eucharist I had a real sense of belonging to the community and felt like a participant rather than just an observer. And it was great!
For the next RCIA and the beginning of Mystagogy we have a potluck dinner scheduled. I hope to remain on the RCIA team from this point on.
First communion is not the end, it is the beginning. I am looking forward to whatever is ahead now.
Oh, and I just changed my profile on CA to read: Roman Catholic; no more “qualifiers” needed anymore!![]()
