Is there a place online that has the general intercessions for daily Mass available to read?
 
Sure, the intercessions are typically published in book form for the entire year, and you can see an example here at WLP. These are, of course, copyrighted and not published on the web for all to see.
 
There isn’t a single set of intercessions that are used everywhere. Some parishes subscribe to them as mentioned above. Some parishes write their own. There are topics that the prayers should cover (from the GIRM):
  1. As a rule, the series of intentions is to be
  2. For the needs of the Church;
  3. For public authorities and the salvation of the whole world;
  4. For those burdened by any kind of difficulty;
  5. For the local community.
Nevertheless, in a particular celebration, such as Confirmation, Marriage, or a Funeral, the series of intentions may reflect more closely the particular occasion.
 
As someone above posted, the only time the church gives us the text of the intercessions is on Good Friday. Also, it is given for the liturgy of the hours, but that is not part of the Mass. The rest of the time, the parish, celebrant, or someone else writes them.
 
Oh Okay. I always see the lectors (or deacon if he is there) reading the prayer intentions from a book and I just thought it was given to us by the Church.

No, they aren’t. Someone else might have published the book, which is quite common, but besides on Good Friday, the text is not laid down.
 
I got a question realted to the intercessions that is being read during High Mass and masses at feast days. Are they from a special book and is this strictly for the church usage only? Or can one also use them for own prayers?

Hopefully (as this will be my last thread - i will only read, not participate anymore) this will not lead to one of those angry, hot tempered debates.

I would imagine that some are formulaic and some are custom to that parish. I would see no problem with using them in your own prayers.
 
The Roman Missal, I believe, does have some forms for General Intercessions in the back appendix.
 
Thanks for the info. I will go to the dioceses bookstore tomorrow and check out if they got that Missal there. 🙂
