Can a visiting Protestant participate during the veneration of the cross on Good Friday?

Just about the only thing a Protestant can’t do while attending Catholic liturgical services is receive the Eucharist. You’re certainly welcome to participate otherwise.

If you are in the spirit of the season, you might want to consider attending an Easter Vigil Mass on Saturday evening. Call a local church for the Mass time. It is a profoundly moving and very striking service. It is also somewhat longer than the average Sunday Mass.

Can non Catholics and Catholics in sin venerate the Crucifix on Good Friday? can anyone? thanks! 🙂
