Met with Vocations Director Today

Well…after a long discernment period, I finally took the next step in my journey and met with my Diocesesan Vocations Director to discuss Seminary and the possibility of me becoming a Priest. I feel strongly that this is where God is leading me…This is my vocation. Please, please pray for me that I am able to hear, answer, and respond to God’s Call in my life. God Bless you all.

I pray that you find your vocation and where God is calling you to.
I read your blog and it brings up several questions in my mind.
You state that you have gone through a long discernment process. My question is, what form did your discernment take ?

And your blog site is interesting !!! If not worry some. Alan Keyes for president ??? Maybe I should start by saying that everyone has the right to support whatever cause they view as worthy; but Alan Keyes !!! Not to say that he is ultra-conservative, but he makes the John Birch Society look like it is middle of the road.
If Mr Keyes is really interested in running for president, why is he not following the proceedure to do so. Perhaps it is part of his mind-set that he does not have to, the same view that he holds that US Sentors should be appointed and not elected (he voiced this opinion after he lost to Barack Obama in Illinois).

God bless you. Some of us still hear from “Seminarian Matt” now that he is in the seminary. May Mother Mary lead you. I like your blog also and know what you mean about the orans posture!
 
It is always a great blessing to all of us when a young man is called to the priesthood and an honor when we can join in prayer for him. God bless you!
 
I am also going to ask St.John Vianney, the patron of priests to also intercede in prayer on your behalf. How wonderful that God is calling you! 👍
