Like someone once said, If there was a big bang then there has got to be a big banger!!! lol

If all space and time has a beginning, then it seems obvious that what ever caused it cannot be physical; it cannot be the space-time continuum…

Now, the only reasonable alternative to the big bang is the multiverse theory. I know someone will propose an infinite regress, but i don’t consider that a rationally coherent proposition to begin with. So a cyclical universe is not a reasonable proposition if you intend to say it existed forever.

So we have have a multiverse, but that suffers from the same problem, because you cannot have an infinite regress of universes, and so eventually you are going to end up with a singularity, a point at which all space-time begins.

Surely this presents a serious issue for metaphysical naturalism, the idea that all things are physical?
