Methodists Defrock Lesbian Minister

**NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The highest court within the United Methodist Church has defrocked a lesbian minister. **

The ruling by the nine-member Judicial Council said the associate pastor violated the Methodists’ ban on “self-avowed, practicing homosexual” clergy.

My favorite part of the article. “She said the Council’s decision Monday marked a “sad day” for her and for the United Methodist Church. Stroud said the church clearly practices discrimination.”

Umm…no…I think they used a book I like to call the “Bible” to defrock you.

If not wanting or believing a practicing homosexual is to be ordained, in any denomination, or not wanting a homesexual couple to adopt kids, or be allowed to marry, if any of this means I am discriminatory, then I welcome the title of bigot or narrow-minded. If not wanting innocent children, with or without a so called birth defect to be aborted or terminally ill patients to be “put out of their misery” makes me uncaring, so be it.

Bring in it on…if the Truth makes me unwelcome in today’s society, oh well.
