More rhetoric from Fox on how the US has no right to protect its borders:
**Mexico Promises to Block Border Wall Plan
**By MARK STEVENSON

MEXICO CITY - The Mexican government, angered by a U.S. proposal to extend a wall along the border to keep out migrants, pledged Tuesday to block the plan and organize an international campaign against it. Facing a growing tide of anti-immigrant sentiment north of the border, the Mexican government has taken out ads urging Mexican workers to denounce rights violations in the United States. It also is hiring an American public relations firm to improve its image and counter growing U.S. concerns about immigration.

Mexican President Vicente Fox denounced the U.S. measures, passed by the House of Representatives on Friday, as “shameful” and his foreign secretary, Luis Ernesto Derbez, echoed his complaints on Tuesday.

We’re at war. Mexico needs to get a grip. Although illegal immigrant problem is worrisome, the real worry is the growing numbers of OTMs crossing the border, prayer rugs found in the desert, munitions missing from Arizona and so on.

The wall will actually be beneficial to Mexico. Particularly if the US hires illegal immigrants from Mexico to build it. Then they won’t be illegal anymore.

How will a foreign country block a construction project in the USA? Sounds like a threat at a minimum or a declaration of war if we go more sinister.

Maybe if Mr. Fox worked harder to liven up his own country’s economy and less on what the US does to stop illegal immigration the Mexican people would be better off.

That was my impression, but I was not going to say it outright.

I love it. The Mexican government needs to look in the dictionary under the word “hypocrite”. They want open borders to the US, while at the same time, they crack down on immigrants from Guatemala

They will print a second, updated edition of their comic book on how to avoid U.S. border security. May be they will even provide free fence cutters.😃

There is a simple solution to this problem.

All we have to do is declare war on Mexico, and annex the country.

Once it is American territory, we’ll have a secure southern border, a fine place for all of our Spanish-speaking citizens to feel at home in, no illegal immigration problem any more, and we’ll regain all of those industries we lost to Juarez under that foolish NAFTA treaty.

The Mexicans will benefit from an increased standard of living, better housing, decent plumbing, and a dearth or corrupt police organizations.

It’s a win-win situation. We should have annexed them years ago.

And with what military do you propose we do this with?

Thats been my position for years… the Mexican Pres needs to fix his own country… not put it on another to do so.

I read the article from the associated press and all it talks about is how outraged the Mexicans are. No where in the article did it mention the effects that illegal immigration is having on the USA.

100’s of millions in SoCal anyways… is spent on illegals… money that could be spent for a healthcare proggy for legal residents.

At least a fence is better than telling border patrol to shoot on sight.

It’s sort of ironic that a few years ago, I can remember a man named Pat Buchanan proposed building a fence along the Mexican border, and he was roundly criticized by both democrats and republicans as being everything from a racist to a radical. Now they are proposing the very same thing. My, how time changes things!

I think Fox should be embarassed and ashamed that the state of his country has become so desperate that the US would even have to consider such a move.

You are at War, are you not? Are you suggesting that Fox started the War?

One would think. But Fox likes the money that the illegals send back home. What really bothers me is the health care, education and other perks that illegals get and poor US citizens do not. How can we justify that?

Yes…I can imagine how things will change if the intelligence rpeorts that everybody likes to ignore end up being correct, and al-Qaeda actually has smuggled upwards of twenty suitcase nukes into the country.

If twenty (or even one or two) American cities vaporize into clouds of radioactive dust, I suspect all the balderdash about “But Islam is a peaceful religion!” will evaporate faster than the cities.

I hope the reports are wrong, and I hope it never happens. But I am in agreement with those who predict that it’s not a question of if we will be attacked again, but when.

On the other hand, when I look around at the shape our society is in, with the hedonism, the abortion, the “assisted suicide”, the homosexual perversions, and all the rest, I am prone to wonder if perhaps we deserve to be brought down and destroyed…

I don’t know. I have always been a patriot. But there is a great deal about America that distresses me, and I’m sure that some of the same things are reasons why we are despised in the rest of the world as well.

I guess the older I get, the more I come to recognize that this world is not my home.
