Yeah, after you cheat on her with another woman while she lies helpless and sick at home.Schiavo responded, “Why do I have to divorce Terri? Terri wasn’t like a football – an inanimate object you pass back and forth. She was my wife. You mean because your wife gets sick, do you give her back?”
No, you just kill her.
Better put on your Nomex.Possibly, Michael Schiavo was doing what he thought his wife wanted.

Yes, now that you mention it. She had said to him previously something along the lines of "no extraordinary means’. It was her choice. He just followed it through in the absence of her being able to herself.that creep think Terri’s up in heaven thanking him???
creep
Bullhockey! Terri was NOT in a PVS and I have plenty to prove otherwise. People in a PVS can’t talk and I have a link to medical records that said that she could talk AS REPORTED BY HER HUSBAND!!! People in PVS do not feel pain and every month, Terri would moan, hold her abdomen, and say “pai” when she had painful cramps from her period.Yes, now that you mention it. She had said to him previously something along the lines of "no extraordinary means’. It was her choice. He just followed it through in the absence of her being able to herself.
It was her wish, and right, to be pulled off life support in these circumstances. What gives you or anyone the right to try and stop her from doing this if it was her wishes, for her own body
To quote Wikipedia:
“The courts consistently found that Schiavo was in a PVS and had made credible statements that she would not wish to be kept alive on a machine”

Terri wasn’t kept alive on a machine. Get your facts straight.Yes, now that you mention it. She had said to him previously something along the lines of "no extraordinary means’. It was her choice. He just followed it through in the absence of her being able to herself.

Food and water are not extraordinary means if they continue to serve the purpose they are intened to serve.Yes, now that you mention it. She had said to him previously something along the lines of "no extraordinary means’. It was her choice. He just followed it through in the absence of her being able to herself.
I do not know what she said, but no one has a* right *to bind another to take their life.It was her wish, and right, to be pulled off life support in these circumstances. What gives you or anyone the right to try and stop her from doing this if it was her wishes, for her own body
Two things. If Terri said anything to Michael, she obviously meant no LIFE SUPPORT machines, including a ventilator or a heart machine. Michael never claimed she made a statement that if she was disabled to stop feeding her.
The POINT is that nobody, including Michael, ever claimed that Terri said she did not want a feeding tube. To many, many people, a feeding tube is NOT life support. As far as I’m concerned, if a person doesn’t clarify what they mean by life support, we don’t ever deny them a feeding tube. And at the time Terri allegedly made such a statement, Florida law did NOT include a feeding tube as life support. Two things.
One, I also told my husband, no machines. At the time, it included a feeding tube. After talking to my priest, I had to change my living will. I really do not want a feeding tube. But I will follow the teachings of the Church. So we do not know what she “obviously” meant.
Second, I do not know Mr. Schiavo and I did not know Mrs. Schiavo. Here, everyone may use their first names for space reasons. But it seems that when others talk about this, they use first names. I do not say, “did you hear what George said?” , when I talk about President Bush. I also do not say Terri or Michael, when I talk about this.
A flame retardant fabric.What’s a Nomex?
You’re either being sarcastic, or you’re full of it.Bullhockey! Terri was NOT in a PVS and I have plenty to prove otherwise. That’s 2 pieces of evidence, I can certainly get more!
