I mentioned in another thread that I was going to start one for this terrific Catholic author and artist. I did a search, and find that he has been mentioned in other threads, but I didn’t find one about him, so I hope this is ok.
He has written a series of Catholic fiction, besides at least one non-fiction book that I know of. The series books are in order of publication:
Father Elijah
Strangers and Sojourners
Plague Journal
Eclipse of the Sun
Sophia House
These all interconnect, and I found it best to read them in order, although Father Elijah does stand alone very well.
There is another book that was published before Sophia House , but I didn’t think it connected with the others very much, and it could be read on its own easily. It’s title is:
A Cry of Stone
They are from Ignatius Press, although I got the last two from Amazon at a good savings.
This is a terrific author. He can paint word pictures that make one feel as if they can actually see everything in the story. And he is very Catholic, which I always find refreshing to read.
