Does anyone use LifeTeen Edge, Mark Hart’s Middle School Bible Study or any other non text book middle school religious ed?

If so, please share what you like, don’t like etc.

Thanks! 🙂

I use my own Bible-sourced non-textbook below, as do individual catechism class folks, homeschoolers and RCIAers around the country. Have a look at the link.

We use EDGE and LifeTeen.
I like it because they send you MORE than enough materials. You could not get through the night if you used every single thing. Also, since it’s broken up with activity, small group discussion, and teaching segments, it makes the night go fast, and the teens are seldom disengaged. You can use as much or as little environment as you wish.
It’s Eucharistically driven, and there’s an emphasis on Adoration. the support from the offices is great. They’ll come out and train your CORE members or help you with tricky lesson plans. Wonderful resources. Can’t say enough. Since we began LifeTeen our group has gone from 7 to 97 in 3 short years. We Confirmed 43 teens last Sunday, and over half want to continue in religious ed, and not bail. Most want to help out in EDGE and work with the younger kids.
Love it.
