I love midnight mass. Its one of my earlist memories of Church.

I still love Midnight Mass even in the EF. Our cathedral choir always opens Mass by chanting the Hodie in Latin.

I think its wonderful. My wife is from Riverside, NJ. and she is wishing right now that we were closer to an EF Mass. Ours is 120 miles away. The FSSP is doing a High EF Mass at midnight, but we can’t make it as I won’t drive after that time when there are so many drunks on the road.
So we are kind of stuck with our local NO’s midnight Mass. Shouldn’t be too bad though, as its usually pretty reverent.
I’ll just “offer it up”.

I am a member of the parish but sadly deployed to Iraq. My fiancee sings in the choir and had the soprano solo during the communion motet and the Agnus :clapping:
