Mimed Stations of the Cross?

I want to ask if anyone knows about some churches having kids dressed like mimes(clown face and in black) and acting out the Stations of the Cross.
I was wondering if anyone may think that this is blasphemy?

By the way priests or deacons who view this I would like your opinion.

Probably not. If it’s done with reverence, respect etc.

But I think it’s tacky, if it’s for the whole congregation. I would prefer that we hold fast to our traditional ways of practising devotions. And I have met people who left the Church when they grew up, because they thought it was childish. Food for thought.
