I have a Mormon friend who just offered me a video about families from her church. I am excited to take this opportunity to give her some literature on the Catholic Church. Does anyone have any suggestions on a book/audio tape I could give her to introduce her and her family to the Church? I don’t want anything too complicated or confusing to start her with. thanks!

Ya, try Pillar of Fire, Pillar of Truth by Catholic Answers.
 
Try “Catholic for a Reason - Scripture and the Mystery of the Family of God” available from Catholic Answers or St. Joseph Communications.
If they have any familiarity with the bible at all (most Mormons don’t), it will blow their minds.

I like Pillar of Fire, Pillar of Truth as well. It’s a simple, small start.

Pillar of Fire, Pillar of Truth is super! Also, anything by Patrick Madrid is good. He has many books dealing with Catholic apologetics and conversion. Such as his Surprised by Truth series. Each chapter in these books are a conversion story of a different person to the Catholic Church and their reasons for becoming Catholic. Book 2 has a conversion story of a former Mormon, Steve Clifford. His chapter is titled, “From the Latter Day Saints to the Communion of Saints”.

There are also wonderful booklets on the Catholic faith and history put out by the Knights of Columbus called, "The Luke E. Hart Series, Basic Elements of the Catholic Faith.
