All,

I’ve been sick for a couple of days now, and went to the doctor earlier today. I was diagnosed with bronchitis, given antibiotics (since I’ve had both sinus infections and pneumonia before) and was told I would be no longer infectious tomorrow.

I’ve only been at work 1/2 day over the last 3 days. I think I may be well enough to attend Mass for the HDO, but on the other hand would hate to possibly get someone else sick, and I really don’t feel all that good.

If I don’t go, is this a sin? 😦

No, it’s not a sin because you are sick. Though being sick is no fun.

Get well soon Sheeniac.:hug1:

Bronchitis is the pits, I am just getting over it also, feel better 🙂

Absolutely not a sin if you’re that sick. Prayers for a complete and speedy recovery :crossrc:

If you do end up going, perchance, best to sit near the front and to the side so you’re not coughing over too many other people in front of you.

And it’s a good idea refrain from the Sign of Peace. If you’re coughing all the way through, likely people won’t want to. If they want to shake hands anyway, just say ‘sorry, don’t want to spread my cough’.

And don’t receive from the Chalice.
