Lol, that’s about right. 😃 They’ll never be an American pope. At least not while we’re too big and powerful a nation. It would be an imbalance.

I’ve heard that expressed by many priests.
 
My wife and I were married at St. Mary’s in Rockford in 1999. This was the first ICRSS apostolate in the USA. Many in our EF community in the Madison, WI area started out at St. Michael’s in Dane (Fr. Kunz) and then when he was murdered many of us went to St. Mary’s in Rockford. When the SSPX came to Madison, WI (St. Theresa chapel) some started going there.

Now we have the Society of Jesus Christ the Priest in Sauk City who administer 6 parishes. There is EF Mass daily and Sunday’s including holy week. We have been so blessed.
