Can’t compare the two.

Abortion is a mortal sin and a non-negotiable; capital punishment, on the other hand, is permissible according to Church teachings. People can disagree on that.

So you should be allowed to post whatever you want including such jabs as “you anti-abortion types” and plead the moderators to protect this? I think you need to take the feedback you receive and be challenged by it, especially where it concerns unalienable rights (such as the right to life).

I have found that Catholics who want to vote for these pro-abortion candidates have a chip on their shoulders about it. They get very defensive, even angry. Everyone is “against” them. I think they believe this way because there is no debating it. The dilemma is, they vote for who they want, or they go against God.

I suppose I understand why they are angry. What mystifies me how they can be so sympathetic with a worldview so opposed to freedom and liberty and its evidence is all over the world. It seems to be a blindness. And, it is a widespread one, reaching even bishops. It reminds me of pre-Hitler Germany. I’m pretty sure the people weren’t voting against Jews, and disabled people. They were voting “the economy”. I don’t know about any of you, but I am fearful of the future.
