Modern (as in recent times) Bishops with a shady past?

Modern (as in recent times) Bishops with a shady past? I know there are many great priests like Fr Corapi with a less than perfect past, but after a while those stories lose their impact on the listener. I kinda wanna give an example to tune of Augustine. Are there any Bishops that experienced a large conversion like Augustine?
