Some modern ones are challenging, some are illuminating.

Hello Godric2, I don’t know if this is really modern but I’m especially fond of the kitchen Madonna. There are several versions, but the one I have looks like this:

I have this statue in the kitchen on the windowsill. Never fails to brighten me up when I’m washing up.

I liked this one so much, I had it mounted on wood like an icon. I’m not sure who the artist is, and my photo doesn’t do it justice, but look closely.
