This thread is an open invitation to any male that loves Mary, The Blessed Mother of Jesus Christ.

Denomination not important, but “how” and “what” one believes in her is. Basically speaking, a Momma’s Boy has to see Mary as his mother, believe that she was Immaculately Conceived, that she was a Perpetual Virgin and basically that she is everything that The Catholic Church teaches she is.

You don’t have to be a Catholic, but you do have to have a Catholic view of her.

I’d love to share videos, photos, stories and prayers.

Why have I posted this here?

Because there have been a number of non-Catholic Christians who say that they love her and in all fairness to them (and to their credit), I wanted to offer them the opportunity to unite with Catholics on this.

We love The Blessed Virgin, Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ.

She is our mother.

And we will defend her honor against anyone who would belittle her, dishonor her, speak ill of her or in anyway disrespect her.

Hail Mary

Latin

Ave Maria, gratia plena,
Dominus tecum.
Benedicta tu in mulieribus,
et benedictus fructus ventris tui, Iesus.
Sancta Maria, Mater Dei,
ora pro nobis peccatoribus,
nunc et in hora mortis nostrae.

Amen.

English

Hail Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

By the way, women are of course allowed to comment here as well and to share their love of her!

But this is mainly a place for the men of Christ to come to to share our love for her without fear of judgement or criticism from those that don’t understand why we love her so dearly and why we are so grateful to her for everything that she’s done for God and for Jesus.

The absolutely best site I’ve seen on The Blessed Mother, Mary!

biblia.com/christianity2/virgin.htm

Non-Catholic Christians should definately go to that site if they “really” want to know (when it comes to Mary)…

…“Is that in The Bible?”

how does this have anything to do with “non-catholic religions”??

mary is a great example to us in the bible. i don’t really have a problem with nearly all of the dogmas about her, i just don’t think they should be binding.

Non-Catholics are invited to join. This section of the Forum is the best place to find them and I didn’t want to exclude them because so many have so proclaimed their love for Mary and I wanted to give them the option of joining us.

Now, if you are “not” a self-proclaimed Momma’s Boy,
I kindly ask you to please take your negativity elsewhere.

This thread is for those who meet the criteria of the thread’s author…namely “me”.

Certified Mama’s Boy here. Went to a Marian Universities in elementary and high school (Assumptionist) and College (Immaculate Conception)…

Memorare

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.

Amen.
