My college degree was in family and consumer sciences communications (Home Ec- communications) and my dream was to be a food writer for the local paper.
Instead I worked in finance and am now a self-employed compliance consultant for financial planners. I work from home, so when our future little darling joins our home, I can be a stay at home mommy AND work.
