Well, its half time and the Eagles look like they didn’t show up to play. There’s potential, but by far a sloppy first half. Atlanta looks fired up and ready to dominate. We’ll see what the 2nd half brings.

PS I wish the announcers would drop the T.O./McNabb affair. Its getting old.

Final: Falcons 14 Eagles 10

I fell asleep before the 1st half was over. Maybe, the pre-game episode was more exciting than the game. The way Vick took the Falcons to their first touchdown, I expected the score to be higher.

Ditto on T.O./McNabb. What I did watch of the game was with the “mute” button. I envy the fans that get to watch games without having to listen to the blathering of these sports announcers.

DITTO. I don’t have a mute button, so I kept turning down the volume then back up again. “Nope! She’s still talking, turning the volume down, again!” Now I hear that women’s voice in my nightmares.

I stayed up to watch the whole game because I had a vested interest in it you might say. I play the Football Pool at my Husband’s work and it came down to points between another person & myself. We both picked Atlanta(I was going for the revenge factor). I picked 40 and my opponent picked 45. Total pts. were 24, so I won $90.00!!:dancing:
I agree with you that the announcers should drop the T.O./McNabb soap opera. Also, are we going to have to suffer Jimmy Kimmel during every Monday Night Football game? I hope not. :nope:

I wouldn’t mind if it was just Monday Night Football, but it’s All Saturday Afternoon NCAA football, All Sunday afternoon and evening football, every gosh darn holiday football, kickoff timed with the turkey football, longer and longer seasons so playoffs last longer than the regular season, plus all the time spent on the computer tracking fantasy teams and betting pools. I would be thrilled if football were limited to Monday night.

plus if you have satellite and TIVO there are all the games that have been recorded that have to be watched during the week, in those rare timeslots when no live games are telecast.
