Sorry, but when you posted the earlier post that you did, exposing the information and sentiment that you did in a public forum, you invited comments from others. Sorry if mine offended you, but perhaps it was the earlier post that had no place in a public forum.I was asking but a simple question. You two fellow posters certainly need to settle down and not look for no good reason to get all excited and offer unsolicited advice–“let it go! …” (maybe too much time on your hands?)
BTW–do you have it on good authority that “There is no such mechanism”?
As for the latter question, the mechanism simply does not exist. One cannot cite sources that prove that something does not exist; it simply does not. Until a source (or any entity, for that matter) magically appears showing that it does exist, its nonexistence remains a fact. I cannot prove that there is no law against putting my elbows on the table during dinner, except to say that no such law exists. One does not present a list of every law that exists and say. “There is no no law against it in here, so it must be true.” Until someone finds such a law, it is not there. And there is no provision for revoking papally-bestowed priestly honors; of that you may be sure.
Beyond that, the situation appears to be a personal one and, as such, ought not to be pursued publicly.
