I am dating a beautiful, loyal girl who I am convinced I want to spend the rest of my life with. The problem is, her parents forbade me to Ever See Her Again. There is much that can be said, I did some things I probably shouldn’t, but in her mother’s eyes, I’m the anti-christ. She has been demonizing me to her co-workers at my old middle school, her daughter, her husband and my parents. I treat her daughter like an angel. I pleaded with her, “Don’t take her from me, please. I love her more than my own Mother.” But she even took that and showed it to my mom as though it would offend her. It didn’t. My mom knows better. She told her “the Jared YOU described to me, and the Jared I know, are two completely different Jareds.” She accuses me of many erroneous things that I believe are unthinkable. As gravely offended as I am, however, I am willing to make things work, for Madison’s sake. There are some things I could have done better, and this is probably God’s punishment on me for not behaving, but I love that girl. More than anything, I love that girl. Everybody knows I’m good to her, that is no secret. Please pray that we can ration together and be functional. Please pray that God secures my relationship with this girl. Please pray that He forgives me. He’s my only hope. Please.
