Monthly confession

Now that I have been confirmed, and am no longer REQUIRED to attend Sunday mass at the nearest Church, I have spent the last two sundays at other Churches. Today was a bit of a drive, but well worth it

Most Churches in my area have confessions on Friday and saturday afternoons and evenings, when I have to be at work. This church has them Sunday Morning during Mass. I attended the 11 AM Mass after doing an unhurried confession.

Wait, it gets better: every third Sunday the 9:30 AM mass is the old Latin version. I missed it this month, but will try to attend next Month.
 
Congratulations on your Confirmation. I am happy that you have found the time for confession. It is great to go to confession more often.

Have you thought/selected a church to be a member of? or you are still the member of the church where you were confirmed?

As far as I know, I am a member of the Church I was confirmed at. But I have not yet received any certificate. And apologiies for the cynicism, but I haven’t received those money envelopes yet, a sure sign of not yet being a member.:rolleyes:

But I still intend to attend to other Church every third Sunday for the latin Mass and confession. I think I will be able to use both.
