Moral Concordance

So I have been reading through St. Anthony’s Moral Concordance.

In the “Against Simony” category there is a perplexing scriptural reference in Lev 10:1.

Can anyone help me understand what Lev10:1 has to do with Simony? Or is it probably just a mistake or typo…

“AND Nadab and Abiu, the sons of Aaron, taking their censers, put fire therein, and incense on it, offering before the Lord strange fire: which was not commanded them.” Lev 10:1

Regarding simony, the catechism states, “It is impossible to appropriate to oneself spiritual goods and behave toward them as their owner or master, for they have their source in God.”

This would seem to be the offense committed by Nadab and Abihu. They appropriated the authority of the offering of incense for themselves, rather than doing it at the command of God, as if it were their right to do so.
