Morally, is life better than not sinning and is sin better than death?

I stated earlier that individuals sin, and all of society is a bunch of individuals.

Yes society is a bunch of individuals but society is guilty of no sin. No individual is guilty of the sin of another individual. We are each guilty of our own sins.

I see that you ignored the part where I talk about the forgiveness of sin through the Church.

a sin that are necessary to live, would be pornography because pornographic movies generate income to a distributor and that distributor pays rent to a strip mall. The strip mall can then lower its rent to allow a pharmacy (or market or some such thing) to rent out one of that mall’s other vacant lots. One day, someone is in dire need of medication so he goes to the pharmacy. So it would seem,that the presence of porn funds the health of the people and without such a sin, it may not be possible to cure people in the short term. But virtue would in this case, drive rents up and eject the video store and pharmacy. So society suffers if something is done in this case? Also, it is true that a good business could take the place of the bad video store, but at least before that happens the rent does have to rise and there has to be a decline in quality in life.

So then by your logic, home invasion with murder is a necessary sin because the criminal who does it gains income which he can use to buy things with which will help all those he buys from. Drug dealing is a necessary sin again, because it creates income and gives work to the drug dealers, drug runners, and drug producers.

Speaking realistically, pornography is not a necessary sin. There is no such thing as a necessary sin.

Your understanding of basic Catholic Moral Teaching is severely deficient and you need to correct that.

As the Church Teaches there is no such thing as “necessary sin” those who chose to sin, such as the pornography dealer and all those up and down the economic chain chose to do what they do, it is not necessary to do as they could do something else but they chose an easier way for (possibly) more money but it is in no way “necessary”.

If you can’t clear that out of your mind it is useless continuing this discussion.

But the necessity I’m using means “necessary per the scenario” in which case, I’ve already assumed the necessity of the sin in the scenario -just imagine that the whole world is a bunch of bad business and pharmacies. Now in this scenario a sin tax is enacted or some such thing. The question then becomes whether or not society is worth the sin -an important question since we come into contact with such dilemmas all the time. The reason I ask is because, obviously Jesus didn’t worry about death when he wanted to fulfill God’s plan but yet, if we are to despise death similarly to carry out God’s will, then isn’t society to be similarly despised (after all there is nothing illogical in saying that societies can get in the way of carrying out God’s will)? And if, so then why don’t priests talk about the virtues of anti-social action? Obviously I’m misunderstanding something here which is why I ask.
