Are Morals and Ethics the same thing can one be unethical without being immoral? :hmmm:

I use a pretty simple distinction between ethics and morals:

Morals tell you what is good and evil
Ethics tell you what is right and wrong

It may seem a matter of degrees but I don’t think so. Ethics come down more to social conditions in that case. It’s “wrong” to cough without covering your mouth but it isn’t “evil.”

Morals do tell you what is good and evil and also what is right and wrong in some ethics circles they distort the two in a push towards reletivism.God Bless
