I agree:mad: Even worse if it isn’t a hoax it is being auctioned on ebay:banghead:

I couldn’t find these (i guess the auctions are over) but the other day while looking for bibles on ebay I found a slice of pizza that apparently had jesus on it (???) and a barney rubble flinstone vitamin with fuzz glued on it. The description also said that it looked like jesus and it came out of the bottle that way…right.

Whats even sadder is i remembered this story from somewhere as if I heard it before… Grrr… I gave advice to this person on the catholic forums I post on sigh

I sent an email to the person asking how much I can buy it outright for. Hoax or not. I personally believe it’s not for some odd reason it belongs in the church.

If it is a miraculous event the Church needs to investigate and interperate its meaning, what is scary if this is miraculous and get’s auctioned and sold on ebay who is trying to get it:eek: If a faithfull Catholic good, but someone in the occult that wants to desecrate it:mad: That is scary

Agreed. I have contacted the seller, and will make an attempt to buy it. Hopefully its not priced out of my league. Did some investigation it seems betcris is a casino of some sort. www.betcris.com Not sure if they are doing this for publicity or what.

Here’s a response to the email. Absolutely scary. Maybe Im as much of a nut for playing along.

I am more than genuine in my belief that this is real. My life has since
changed. I have had numerous emails from reporter’s, and further people
representing themselves as Priest, and even a witch doctor go figure. I
listed on ebay becuase I had a vision the day I went to Church I even set
the auction to list a 10:15 PM PST. I am not a cook or a crazy the visions
were just there i didnt even post them on the listing auction. i had visions
that after I list the item it will go to benefit people, I knew from my
visions the Pope would get sicker, and eventually pass away 24 hrs from the
end of the Auction. Call me crazy but these are visions. As ridicuolus as
the may seem there my visions. I can not end the Auction early per ebay
requirements, and truly do not care what the auction ends at. It mus run its
course. Thank you.

If you are truly genuine with the belief that the tears from the Virgin
Mary are real. You are doing a great injustice to the Catholic, and
Christian community in general. By providing this item on eBay It can fall
into the hands of undesirables or people that prefer to do harm or bad to
this statue. Can I have an cotton ball (for testing purposes only), or make
an offer on the sculpture.

Thanks,

I have a hot dog that looks like Frank Sinatra if anyone is interested.

That’s very sad. And we Catholics sit around wondering why we’re accused of idolatry all the time.

Not as sad as the current bid amount. I saw a new ebay id attemoted to bid as 4 catholics. Guess he got priced out curretn bidding is at 4,500.00 I just hope some one can afford to purchase it and do good. I was looking for the Ceo’s of that other casino. Even though it’s a casino they raise there items as ridiculous as they are for charity. i would hope if they can afford to I would hope that they would allow the Church to examine it.

If all of her claims are true then she should have donated it to the Church herself. I am sure they could have preserved her anonymity. I do hope that she follows through with donating the proceeds to charity and that this does fall into sympathetic hands. I pray that the prediction about the Pope is a falsehood. 😦

First off, please don’t take anything I say as meant to attack anyone, since I’m a believing catholic myself, and I believe in the apparitions at Fatima, Medjugore, Lourdes, etc., but does anybody else think it’s a little ridiculous to get caught up in stuff like this? Miracles are great, and everything, but we experience the greatest miracle that could ever occur at Mass every sunday. I heard a priest say once that he knew some people who were going to some place where Mary had supposedly appeared and they asked him to go with them. He told them no because if he didn’t get the same excitement over the eucharist, why should he go and see a place where Mary had supposedly appeared? It seems to me that that apparitions and statues crying are primarily for the benefit and edification of those closely associated with the events. It strikes me as a little hypocritical that so many Catholics flock to places where Mary or someone else has appeared, but many times we can barely make ourselves get out of bed and go to Mass.

How do you folks feel?

I feel as you do, but I was mainly pointing out the fact that some one was willing to sell a miracle. I just hope what the person plans on donating goes to charity, and the person that purchases the item allows it to go to the Church.
