Hello.

Went to Confession, then Mass. I felt like the priest is getting tired of listening to me.

After confession I kept crying and couldn’t stop. Cried all through Mass. I feel like there’s no hope for me. Again, this could be my mental illness manifesting itself, I dunno.

Wished I was dead for a moment, then realized I just wanted the emotional pain to go away. I tried to offer up the pain, but I don’t know if that worked.

Please pray for me. Please pray that we all try to be just a little bit more patient and kind with each other. Please pray that we all guard our speech. Please pray for the mentally ill and all those who have been rejected. Please pray that we all try to become each other’s servant, in love. Please pray that we all put God’s will as first and foremost in our lives.

Please pray that God will teach me how to love and that I will want for God to teach me how to love.

Please pray that we treat each other as the treasures and children God meant for us to be.

Thanks for listening.

I will remember your intentions in my prayers this evening.

I am so sorry you are feeling so discouraged. I will pray for a relief from discouragement and pain in your life and may you be granted some peace. I will also pray for your other intentions.

Mary.

Praying for your intentions…

Sometimes we look for answers in the wrong places…
I’m not saying the Church can’t help you,
But sometimes we just need to look outside the Square…

Prayer of St. Dymphna

Lord, our God, you graciously chose St. Dymphna as patroness of those afflicted with mental, emotional, and nervous disorders. She is thus an inspiration and a symbol of charity to the thousands who ask her intercession.

Please grant, Lord, through the prayers of this pure youthful martyr, relief and consolation to all suffering such trials, and especially Crenfro, for whom we pray.

We beg you, Lord, to hear the prayers of St. Dymphna on our behalf. Grant all those for whom we pray patience in their sufferings and resignation to your divine will.

Please fill them with hope, and grant them the relief and cure they so desire.
We ask this through Christ our Lord who suffered agony in the garden. Amen.

O Christ Jesus
When all is darkness
And we feel our weakness and helplessness,
Give us the sense of Your Presence,
Your Love and Your Strength.
Help us to have perfect trust
In Your protecting love
And strengthening power,
So that nothing may frighten or worry us,
For, living close to You,
We shall see Your Hand,
Your Purpose, Your Will through all things.

By St. Ignatius of Loyola

P.S. Keep crying at mass if you have to. I’ve done it myself. I’m telling you the truth. Bring your hankies and sit in the back. Our Church was founded by the Son of God, who was nailed to the cross for our sins and illnesses.

Dear crenfrow,
Perhaps you are explaining too much in confession and the priest is just nervous about those who are waiting. Whenever I have a priest who talks to me a lot, it makes *me *nervous, as I know how many are waiting 🙂 In Confession, we only have to list number and kind (I told 4 lies, and shoplifted about every other day…). If he needs to know more, he will ask.

What you might do is ask him *if he knows a priest who might be able to help you with your spiritual life. *This way, he could offer to help you outside of Confession, or if he is too busy or has little expertise in that area, refer you to a priest who will be able to help you.

Don’t worry about crying at Mass. I have done it a lot–for me it comes in bunches (?). And whenever. i have mentioned it to others, they said they’ve done it too!

Praying for all of your intentions and you.

Memorare

REMEMBER, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly to thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to thee do I come; before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

Holy Mary, loving mother and heavenly guide, be present to me now and let me know your compassion and kindness. Pray for me to your Divine Son, that I may experience calmness, tranquility and peace in all my emotions.

Help me to grow in faith and love. Protect me from all that displeases God, and obtain for me serenity of mind, body and spirit.

I place my trust and confidence in you, dear Blessed mother, and I pray that God’s blessings of mercy, grace and gentle goodness will bring happiness to my life, now and always. Amen.

Lord please bless this dear soul with strength, and courage to rise again each time there is failure or hurt, and with loving consolation.

For crenfro, may this person find peace joy through Christ our Lord. Lord hear our prayer.

May I suggest catholictherapists.com if you would like to talk with someone or catholiccounseling.org if you just want read information.

Also, your local Catholic Charities might have some Catholic therapists or counselors too (or a list of local ones)

May The Lord bring you peace and Blessings.

Njlisa always submits such beautiful prayers.
I respectfully join in those prayers for you.
God bless you and wrap you in His love. :hug3:

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.
