More hate toward Mormons....

No. People need to be respectful of the Mormons (or Christians, or Jews, etc) right to practice their faith. To ask people to respect the faith itself is too much. You cannot live in a free society where you are required to show respect to something that you do not respect. Witness the awful anti-Catholic “art” that has generated much press. I think it’s terrible, but I cannot deny the people who make it or consume it the right to do so. It doesn’t mean I need to respect it as a legitimate art form or social commentary or what have you.

The awful anti catholic art should not occur among a population that learns to respect others and their beliefs. And that is my point. When a society becomes disrespectful such imaging will occur. And so, I would have to disagree with you. When we show disrespect to anothers faith, we show disrespect to our own humanity. And although we canno deny such art, we can certainly speak out and condemn it.
